The Tap House which includes the Gable and The Poultry Shed, is a fully licenced and catered premises therefore we do not offer dry hire.
The Tap House has its own music.
During operating hours music is played through the greater Tap House sound system. If you have a function during this time, music genre and song requests will be accepted and included in the overall venue music.
When the Tap House is not open to the public, the Gable has an audio system available which allow music to be played from a smart device throughout the course of your ceremony and/or reception.
If the Tap House is closed to the public a musician or DJ (at your cost) is permitted in the Gable.
Bands are only permitted when the entire Tap House premises is hired, and must be on the outdoor stage, not indoors.
Note: approval must be sort prior to booking being accepted for all entertainment. We reserve the right to refuse any entertainment that we deem to be inappropriate.
Yes, tables and chairs, arbours, and arches may be styled. However:
All styling elements must be approved in advance.
Own arbours and arches are permitted outside only and may only be erected at the Gable entrance (with prior approval).
DIY styling is allowed inside (with approval), but decorations must be freestanding.
No items can be attached to walls, ceilings, or Gable sign.
No, the Tap House is fully catered and has a range of food and catering options available to suit your needs.
If your wedding, either ceremony or reception is booked during the Tap House operating hours the general common spaces will be shared and music options will be limited. The reception and ceremony space (depending on selected option) will be exclusive to you and your guests.
The Tap House and the Gable is fully licenced and catered, therefore no food or drink is permitted to be brought onto the premises. Onsite caterers are available to organise all your food and catering needs.
Extra time is provided for the lengthier set up and pack down of a wedding to allow for decorating tables, chairs, arbour etc. as required. In addition, wedding bookings are permitted viewings in the lead up for arrangement and planning purposes etc. and staff will set up chairs and cake/ coffee stations as per your booking requirements on the day.
All bookings at The Groundz are subject to our venue conditions, including scheduling of other events, site activities, or unforeseen circumstances (such as weather events, emergencies, or force majeure).
While this is rare, if your booking is impacted, you may be offered an alternate date or suitable arrangement as compensation. The Groundz does not accept liability for any additional costs or losses incurred due to such changes.
