THE GROUNDZ PRECINCT
The Groundz Precinct (Dapto Showground) is the last remaining freehold showground in the Illawarra, owned and operated by Dapto A&H Society Ltd, a company limited by guarantee i.e., non- profit organisation.

The Dapto Agricultural & Horticultural Society was formed on Sunday 8 November 1856, at a public meeting at the Illawarra Hotel in Dapto, and the first Dapto Show was held on 28 January 1857 at Brown’s Flour Mill in Brownville.
